Advertising in The World Of Antiques & Art 2003.

I sold this amazing dresser to a great friend Stuart, in Euroa. He had a wall taken out and re built to allow this magnificent piece to fit into his farmhouse. I found this magazine amongst many other publications from years ago.
The customer I purchased this from had originally bought from Lee Harper many years before. So I was very lucky to have the pleasure of handling this piece and showing off at a Sydney antique fair, also 2003.

Description

The four early C18th English oak chairs hanging above the dresser are back in stock, awaiting a good clean and re waxing. I sold the chairs to a customer in 2003.

An outstanding late 18th Century oak, elm and beech high dresser. The original rack having a shaped moulded cornice above three long graduated warped shelves (bracket supported) and joined to stepped side supports, slotting into the long single plank beech top, above four cockbeaded elm drawers housed in the plain moulded apron, resting on six oak square tapered legs. This dresser is the longest I have stocked and pretty much seen, the overall colour and patination is exceptional.
