Petrin’s/Doughbin’s are one of the special pieces I have specialised in over the past 35 years.

With thanks to Geoff Fisk, Fisk Antique Galleries, Malvern.

Geoff introduced me to them back in the 80s when I was his restorer.

Description

I remember his was French elm, on four slight out-swept turned legs, joined by stretchers.

I was intrigued by such a unique unusual piece, that could be used in many parts of the home.

So when I opened my shop, only a few doors down from Geoff 1990, I too started to deal in them.

Over the decades I’ve sold dozens. For sofa tables, side tables, entrance tables, hall tables, bay windows, even as a bedside table (as some quite small)

The first five on this post are current stock, the few following are in my archives.

Any enquiries, DM me, or look at my website under, French, Furniture, Petrin/Dough bins

The perfect conversion piece.
