A few snapshots I recently found of a fair I attended August 1999

The Royal Exhibition Building, Nicholson Street, Melbourne.

One of many I took part in over the decades.

Looking back over my stand, I remain proud of the standard of stock I sold at that fair. Funnily, I remember every piece, who I purchased from or sold on behalf of, I remember who purchased and where they’ve sat over the past 27 years.

Grateful I am for Mary Adamson, sewing the many meters of material I shipped around the country, applying to my walls with the help of Shane, flying from NZ to assist me at many shows.

Several exceptional early pieces of rare early oak from my old friend Francis, Chinoiserie clocks from Michael, Art from Bryan Collie, assistance on my stand by Bridget Evans.

I even remember the stands that were opposite me, truly remarkable for me, as my memory often fails me!

If only to step back for a few moments, imagine….✨
