Set of Six 18th Century English Figured Ash Country chippendale dining chairs
The six chairs would look great both sides of a farmhouse table or two either side and one at each end.
My upholsterer will make six perfect fitting thick velcro-fitted cushions, piped top and bottom. Very stylish.
All needing re-gluing and a good wax.
I bought these chairs, as it’s very hard to locate a set, especially country chairs. I usually combine 6-8 singles to form a harlequin set.

The shaped top rail having exceptional acanthus leaf carved decoration above a shaped fret carved centre splat, the carver’s having shaped arms with leaf carvings above the shaped supports, with an upholstered drop in seat, the seat rails having quarter mould detail flowing through to the front legs, joined by stretchers.
