First quarter 19th Century French robinia farmhouse table
The top having three planks of robinia and one of chestnut, the apron and square tapered legs from oak. Robinia is originally from the United States, in the 18th Century the tree was exported to Europe where it grew very fast, being a hardwood it was generally used for fences and posts but not so common in furniture.
Note: The two centre planks are both with matching knots.
19th Century French beech and fruitwood farmhouse table.
The beech twin plank bookmatched top having fruitwood cleats above a plain moulded frieze, housing a deep moulded centre drawer, on thick square tapered legs.

The thick three plank top above a plain moulded frieze with a bread slide to one end and a drawer to the other. The moulded frieze flowing into the moulded legs. The figured elm grain to this table is exceptional.

Seats 12/14. Note: This table is a perfect dining height due to the narrow skirt.

The well faded three plank cleated top above a plain frieze with drawers to both ends having the original turned nobs raised on rectangular section tapered legs.
The deep three plank cleated top above a plain frieze having three drawers, one to the centre and one to either end. Resting on thick square tapered legs. (restorations)
Mid 19th Century continental oak farmhouse table/desk.
The cleated planked top above a double moulded apron housing a centre drawer with original lock and key, and the original turned handles, and diamond shaped bone escutcheon. Resting on rectangular block legs with great overall colour and patination.
Provenance: Belonged to a recently retired Q.C who used it daily for 30 years.
