The shaped moulded cornice having a secret display window, above the nine panelled glazed astragal door, with matching glass windowed canted corners.

Ernest James Theodore (Theo) Mashman (1895-1964), potter, was born on 19 August 1895 at Willoughby, Sydney.
Elder son of Henry Mashman (1856-1922), potter, and his second wife Elizabeth Simpson, née Wieland, a widow.
Theo, as he was known, represented the second generation of Mashmans in Australia.

An unusually small 19th Century Flemish hanging messing (brass) cushion shaped mirror, with pierced and embossed ormolu mounts.
The arrow wielding Cupid to the mirror backed pelmet.
The mirrors overall are original with wonderful oxidized patination.
