19th Century French Elm dough-bin/coffee table

The hinged top opening for convenient wine storage. the cantered base having applied rectangular mouldings resting on later bun feet. Great overall colour and patination. This coffee table has been danced on by many adults, generally two at a time, also many children playing on. A quick rewax and it is beautiful again. C. 1820
