Description

You wouldn’t think I was closing in 8 weeks!!!!!

When I’m still buying the odd piece!

Purchased this stunning elm box from another dealer recently.
Purchased as 18th century Japanese. Never seen one quite like this before.
Usually I can look at something and know immediately the age and country of origin, even the county or province at times. But this one has me thinking?
So I’m leaning towards late 18th – early 19th century French.
More than happy to hear anyone’s thoughts…
