I love the natural oxidisation on this beautifully maintained piece.
Could be cleaned and polished up, but not by me..
I bought this from Gary Kay, Antique Decor, High St, Armadale some years ago and found hiding in my storeroom recently.
So I thought to do a post on my Copper, Bronze, Pewter, Brass, Spelter and pressed metals around my showroom today.

I highlighted many of the brass handles in the showroom this morning, so decided to do a post of the piece and the brass-ware dressing.
I included some lamps, sconces, pewter, mirrors, even a couple of Queen Anne style table bells (exceptionally made)

Being terribly overstocked, (but not complaining) I’ve taken this walnut entrance table to my apartment to create more shop space and over decorate my entrance!

My usual entrance pieces are also quite out of my usual style, but having a retro 1970 built apartment, I wanted something different from the interior at the door.
Not my usual style or periods, but had to have these unique pieces✨✨

This beautiful vintage Erte flirting mirror is probably the most noticed and touched piece in my showroom.

While cleaning the mirrors outside today, I noticed the blue sky and clouds in the reflections.

A signed decorative 20th Century French bronze ‘Coquette’ sculptured limited edition bronze folding mirror  – Signed Erte.

‘Coquette’ – a mid 17th Century French word meaning a woman who flirts in a mirror.
