I sold this untouched 18th century English oak wine table recently.

My customer wanted a fresh wax finish, as hadn’t been waxed in decades.
Lifted the finish beautifully..

18th Century English Country Oak Wine Table of Larger Proportions
The well patinated, circular tilt top, on a tapered, turned central column
Resting on three out-swept cabriole legs
This table has never been restored, I will not restore this table until sold, and will only be waxed.

Wasn’t the original finish and had too much red in the polish.
Will now suit their overall decor better and not look so heavy.

Last night after closing shop I visited my customers home, they recently purchased some beautiful art from me, as Julian Stafford, Picture Rail Systems hung them yesterday.

They look perfect for the spaces intended and Julian did a fantastic job!

The exquisite grained single plank rectangular moulded top, lifting to become a two plank square tea/card table top.
The unusual centred hinged rear legs opening to join with the sides.
The beautifully moulded front legs give a sense of style to a very classic straight lined table.
The narrow cock beaded drawer to the plain skirt, retaining the original brass swan-neck handle.

A rare museum quality first half 18th century French provincial walnut dresser/buffet and rack.

The strong William and Mary, Queen Anne from 1690 to 1710 influence, including the double arched carved pedemint steel drop handles and bold bun-feet.
With floral, leaf carvings to the facing rounded corners, a lot more worn to the base.
Turned finials supporting the rails for the display shelving, plain moulded drawers, so the beautifully carved arched fielded paneled doors of birds with out swept wings holding flowers.
Then a beautiful ogee-shaped bottom rail, resting on bold bun feet.

Carved Jade Leaves, Weights 61g, 46g, 43g. Total 153g.
The Georgian House, built from sandstone bricks, quarried by convict labor. Built in traditional English style.

The well patinated two plank moulded top having a deep plate groove to the rear, to hold large upright dinner and serving plates.
Above a stylish double mould, meeting with the sides to create a framed look. The three central drawers, flanked by two flowing mould carved paneled doors.
With a decorative applied ogee shaped long lower rail, joined to a continued slight shaped moulded foot.
