Late 18th Century French Walnut Louis XVIII Period Side Table
The well patinated rectangular central panelled cleated, moulded top, above an ogee shaped groove-moulded frieze, housing a rectangular drawer, retaining the original turned handles.
The moulded frieze, flowing though to the long slight cabriole legs, terminating to a scroll at the foot.
Great overall colour and patination.

A rare find indeed, another recent private purchase.
18th Century English country oak chest of unusually small proportions.
The well patinated moulded top, above two short and three long graduated cock-beaded drawers, all retaining the original brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons. Resting on low shaped bracket feet.
Fantastic overall colour and patination.

Late 19th century European Majolica Jardinière-Vase.
Stunning colours and design.
Majolica originated 14th Century Italy, around 1370, Tuscany and Umbria.
Over the years I have sold hundreds of English and French Green Majolica plates and the likes. Rarely have I stocked the more Italian style.
Personally, I love this vase.
This piece of art could sit on any surface, period to modern and oozing style.

An unusual pair of first quarter 20th Century French Art Nouveau nickel plated brass and etched glass chandeliers. Having the original cherry and leaf etched glass panels to both hexagonals. The original matching etched light shades to one and later to the other.
Recently arrived from France, cleaned and rewired to Australian standards.

Well worn original pigment painted patina.

Late 19th century Kenyan carved ancestral female figure, on later stand.
Interestingly, the head is completely free from woodworm.
Parts of the body, well eaten over the years.
Timber’s in one piece can vary.
Sapwood is always devoured by woodworms, the harder grain is usually untouched.
Possibly a fertile blessing given to a woman, showing the beauty of an African female figure, ready to bear children.
