Johannes “Jan” Kip (1652/53, Amsterdam – 1722, Westminster) was a Dutch draftsman, engraver and print dealer. Together with Leonard Knyff, he made a speciality of engraved views of English country houses.
Last Quarter 19th Century English Oak Elizabethan Style Side Table.
The rectangular top having strong tooth mouldings to the top rail above two Elizabethan style carved drawers flanked by applied upright flat finials on turned front legs, the lower section having brick style carving (Ive never seen this before) joined by rectangular stretchers, resting on square block feet.
A rare and unusual late 18th Century English green and white tulip adorned potery jug. (A.F.) I sold this jug on consignment a few years ago and have just traded with another jug I have for sale. Buying, Selling and Trading is all part of the business. Makes life interesting…

The carved shaped moulded cornice having greek keywork design, above two glazed astragal doors retaining the original imperfect wavey glass and a brushing slide.
The base having one long triangular drawer with decorative brass swan-neck handles then two moulded panelled doors with a carved cartouche to each corner.
Resting on shaped bracket feet.
Good overall colour and patination.
Note: The interior lined in a moire taffeta and matching painted shaped shelving.

An unusual French `walnut side/bedside table – AA2126
The well used oval top, above a central turned leg, flanked by two small drawers, with turned handles. The matching rear legs, attached by an unusual ’T’ shaped rectangular stretcher.
