A rare 16th Century Flemmish oak credence type table of Gothic design.
The semi triangular planked top above an iron hinged central elliptical pierced and stylised foliate carved plank door, embraced by a canted arched and pierced plumette carved panel to both sides, the left having the initials W. M. and the right dated 1520. Raised on chamfered rectangular section splayed legs.
This exceptional piece has a wonderful overall feel, from the well worn top, to the water faded lower legs and a great overall colour and wax patinated finish. This table will sell to a serious oak lover.
19th Century French burr ash, ash & apple wood side table. The two plank solid burr ash top above the plain ash apron, housing two drawers with turned wooden knobs, resting on square tapered apple wood legs.
17th Century Dutch oak drawer leaf centre/dining table.
The planked cleated top above the original drawer ends, having several scratched initials from over the centuries, the plain frieze with applied mouldings, raised on ring incised bulbous legs with decorative applied ebonized mouldings above, joined by original rectangular section peripheral stretchers on square block feet. “This table defies simple explanation”
The bold pegged, cleated, solid parquetry top having a large rectangular four seater central section. Unusually, each drawer leaf is of a different size. One being 42cm the other 60cm.
The base, is as unusual as the tops, having a plain central moulded frieze above bold, square, out-swept legs, joined by a ‘Y’ stretcher.
The overall varied depths of colour and patination are due to the unusual geometric feel of this table.
*‘Y’ stretcher is an alternative to the ‘H’ stretcher, enabling chairs to be slid under further, particularly on tables with less overhang, enabling more leg room.

Mid 19th Century French chestnut and oak dining table of good proportions The three plank cleated top above a plain frieze, one end having a single drawer, retaining the original turned handle. Resting on square tapered legs.
An early 18th Century Spanish chestnut ‘tavern’ table. The twin plank rectangular top raised on square section faceted legs, joined by an ‘H’ foot stretcher, and diagonal upright stretchers.
Having a well patinated six plank top above a plain frieze, housing three long functional drawers with later turned handles. Resting on square chamfered legs. (restorations)

A Rare 18th Century French, Solid Figured and Burred Elm Refectory/Farmhouse Table The 3.3cm thick two plank top, above a narrow chamfered frieze, resting on square matching chamfered legs, joined by conforming rectangular end stretchers.
