Late 18th Century English cherrywood and laburnum chest on chest.

The moulded three plank top above applied mouldings to the top rail with a shaped laburnum centre piece. Then two short and three long generous sized graduated drawers having unusual laburnum cock beading and brass swan-neck handles, flanked by chamfered and moulded corner uprights, resting on attractive shaped bracket feet.

Note: This is the first Georgian fruitwood chest I have had in over 20 years, also having beautiful fruitwood and beech drawer lining and good overall colour.

Late 17th Century English oak coffer of unusually high proportions.

The hinged plank top above a carved top rail then two celtic style leaf carved panels, flanked by deep groove moulded boards, terminating in rectangular section legs. Good overall colour and patination (original hinges recently repaired).

The rectangular top, above the hinged fall-front, with the original four-throw lock and Georgian wire-bow key. Opening to reveal letter and document slots. The seven various shaped drawers, concealing two never before discovered secret drawers,complete with 240 or so years of dust. The base having two short and two long graduated drawers, with later brasswork. Resting on shaped bracket feet.

Fantastic overall colour and patination.

Late 18th Century, George III oak standing corner cupboard, having a shaped cornice above two slight gothic style glass moulded doors, retaining most of the original glass

Note: The horizontal mouldings disguise both shelves, flanked by canted sides.

The base same, except panelled doors concealing a shelved interior, resting on shaped bracket feet.

This piece is yet to be re-glued, cleaned and waxed. The end result will be fantastic.

The shaped top rail having slight pronounced ears, on angled supports, with a beautiful fret carved central upright splat. The comfortable drop in upholstered seat framed by an unusual thick mitred mould, resting on square tapered legs, joined by an ‘H’ stretcher.

The shaped top rail, having a knot to the centre right, flanked by strong ears,having tapered upright supports framing the well carved vertical centre splat.

The upholstered drop-in seat, inside slight mounlded plain rails, resting on square-block legs, joined by rectangular stretchers.

Perfect overall well faded to a walnut tone patination.
