The rectangular seat having a ‘D’ shaped drop to each side, resting on four well turned, out swept legs, joined by a bold, square stretcher.
Note: these stools originated in the 17th Century.

Early 19th Century English sycamore treen bowl having a fantastic patina. Note the decorative scratch mould to top rim and then two groups running around the sides. Further note the bowl is now oval due to much shrinkage, original diameter 41.5 cm the cross grain side is now 38.5 cm (3 cm shrinkage).
